Ned is best known as co-founder of VidCon, a conference that celebrates the online video community. The inaugural event in 2010 attracted over 1,000 attendees and has since grown to attract over 25,000 people from all around the world every year. He was also one of the first employees of Buzzfeed in 2011. With Buzzfeed he helped create content for their website like lists, quizzes, and articles on the latest pop culture news. In 2013 he left Buzzfeed to work with Fullscreen Media. At Fullscreen, his team focused on growing the company's audience while building a diverse set of influencers who made videos that appealed to different audiences. Currently he serves as CEO of Big Frame which was acquired by Maker Studios (a subsidiary of Disney) in 2014.

On weekends, they head to farmers' markets and stores like Trader Joe's to purchase what they need for meals on a budget.
